For all of my neighbors you may have heard about the candle company my husband and I started in 2018 that is encompassed around suicide prevention and mental health.We give 15% back to the AFSP [American Foundation for Suicide Prevention & Awareness] who puts on the walks & are always actively working to get resources and track analytics as far as impacts and causes regarding the epidemic of suicide prevention and awareness. We chose them because they area non profit and very transparent about where all their resources go and we felt that they were making major headway in breaking stigmas and providing mental health first aid certifications and more.We have a special collection of candles set up at the...

Happy Valentines Day!

I've never been a big Valentines Day person. I had a friend and still have a couple who's birthdays fall on Valentines Day. I never know whether that is a blessing or a curse, or neither? Valentines Day has been a "sad" day or known to be for a long time if you don't have a significant other in your life. And let me tell you, there is nothing wrong with being single. End of 2019 Round Up

Hello lovely friends reading this! I wanted to recap this whole last year and just remember all the amazing things we have gotten to witness in our state and country regarding mental health and suicide awareness and prevention.  If you are local or live in Salt Lake City you can get involved by going to the AFSP website and sign up for the newsletters. February 13th there will be a advocacy meeting at the Capitol in the capitol board room, from 9-3pm.
